The in Vitro Analytical Core (IVAC) facilitates the mission of the UNE Center for Cell Signaling 研究 (CCSR) by identifying molecular mechanisms and cellular processes in aging, 压力, 生物能学, and cellular metabolism by providing the critical expertise and 仪表 to study cell-cell interactions and to delineate intracellular pathways in targeted cell types.
The primary mission of the IVAC is to support the research of current and future CCSR 研究 项目负责人. As a resource at UNE, the IVAC plans to grow its capacity to provide services to all investigators at UNE, and ultimately to extramural investigators from both academic and industry partners in the region.
These images depict a range of cell lines and primary neurons derived from mouse, 鼠与人, produced by members of the CCSR. The IVAC provides equipment and services for propagating, 使转染, analyzing and storing cell lines for a wide range of imaging and biochemical assays, as well as for preparation of samples for -omics applications.

The IVAC provides training, 仪表, and technical services for the development, 分析, and storage of in vitro cell models (such as stably transfected cell lines using genetically encoded biosensors) across a wide range of biological and biomedical applications, as well as various types of sample preparation for downstream analyses such as mass spectrometry and RNA-seq.
